Message from the Principal

Welcome to Rowville Primary School.

Schooling is an essential part of life that provides young people with the knowledge and skills that will help them become productive citizens. During their years at Rowville Primary School, students will progress from learning the alphabet to reading the work of contemporary writers such as Tim Winton. They will also advance from adding and subtracting numbers to calculating complex mathematical equations.

Ms Anne Babich, PrincipalAs well as encouraging our students to develop academic skills we also aim to nurture the development of good citizenship. We teach our students to show respect for themselves, other people and the school as a whole.

A relevant education needs to respond to changing times. All our actions and activities at Rowville Primary School are driven by a commitment to providing all students with the best education possible.

We know that a child's education is greatly enhanced by the participation and support of parents. We encourage parents' involvement in our School. They may choose to help in the classroom, on camps and excursions, become a member of the “Friends of Rowville Primary School” or to serve on school council.

Our aim is to provide the best education possible for all our students through exemplary staff performance and program diversity, regular upgrades to our school environment and we have many new curriculum plans in place. All these things argue well for an exciting learning environment for now and the future.

Anne Babich
